Consent for use of Mærsk Gallant for permanent plugging and abandonment of wells

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS has been granted consent for use of the mobile drilling facility Mærsk Gallant.

The consent applies to permanent plugging and abandonment of the wells Ebba 2/7-31 and Tjalve 2/4-17.

The wells are a part of production licence 018, and are located in the southern North Sea. 

The work will be carried out in 2012, and is expected to last for 33 days.


The Mærsk Gallant (above) is operated by Maersk Contractors Norge A/S.

The facility received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in August 2002.
