Audit of Lundin Norway AS

From 23 to 27 May 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of Lundin Norway AS (Lundin)'s overall barrier management, and especially the interactions between operational, organisational and technical barrier elements.


The objective of the audit was to monitor Lundin's compliance with established processes and systems designed to help safeguard comprehensive barrier management and in particular the interactions between operational, organisational and technical barrier elements, in addition to verifying that Lundin is working systematically at all levels of the organisation to prevent major accidents.

Result
No non-conformities were identified.

Six improvement points were identified in connection with:

  • Human-machine interfaces and information presentation
  • Safety systems
  • The fire pumps
  • Module training
  • Rescue of personnel from lockable cabins
  • Coordinating working environment committee 

Lundin has been given a deadline of 1 September 2016 to report on how the improvement points will be dealt with.
