Audit of Lundin Norway AS – Edvard Grieg

On 26 August 21015, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway carried out an audit of Lundin Norge AS (Lundin)'s barrier management in the operational phase of Edvard Grieg.

The objective of the audit was to assess whether, through its preparations for operation, Lundin was meeting the requirements and preconditions from the project phase for the commissioning and use of the facility.

No non-conformities were detected during this audit.

Two improvement points were identified in connection with:

  • Firewater pumps
  • The emergency generator

Lundin Norge AS has been given a deadline of 30 October 2015 to report on how the improvement points will be dealt with.

Entails that a condition is assessed as not complying with a regulatory requirement.

Improvement point:
Entails that we have identified a deficiency or weakness, without there being sufficient grounds for determining a breach of regulatory requirements.
