Audit of Statoil - Aasta Hansteen development project

From 14 to 16 April 2015, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway carried out an audit of Statoil and the development of Aasta Hansteen.


The objective of the audit was to monitor that Statoil, in partnership with HHI/Technip and other parties involved, is in compliance with the regulations.

Result
One non-conformity was identified in connection with fire barriers in the accommodation quarters.

In addition, an improvement point was identified in connection with passive fire protection.

Statoil has been given a deadline of 19 June 2015 to report on how the non-conformity and improvement point will be dealt with.


Non-conformities:
Entails that a condition is assessed as not complying with a regulatory requirement.

Improvement point:
Entails that we have identified a deficiency or weakness, without there being sufficient grounds for determining a breach of regulatory requirements.
