Audit of Statoil – Gina Krog

From 15 to 17 December 2014, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway carried out an audit of the jacket fabrication for Gina Krog.

The objective of the audit was to verify that Statoil's follow-up of fabrication of the jacket was being carried out in compliance with applicable regulations.

No non-conformities were identified.

Improvement points were identified in connection with:

  • Post-weld heat treatment (PWHT)
  • Design life
  • Documentation

Entails that a condition is assessed as not complying with a regulatory requirement.

Improvement point:
Entails that we have identified a deficiency, without there being sufficient grounds for determining a breach of regulatory requirements.
