Audit of Statoil's Johan Sverdrup project

From 7 to 8 September 2017, we carried out an audit of the fabrication of bridges and flare booms and Statoil's follow-up thereof for the Johan Sverdrup project. The audit was performed at the premises of Rosenberg WorleyParsons AS (Rosenberg).

Background

  • Submitted and processed plan for development and operation (PDO)
  • Previous audits of the project
  • Our main theme, with its pillars of robustness and standardisation

Objective
To monitor that the project has been planned and carried out in compliance with applicable regulations and recognised norms, and that requirements in the HSE regulations are provided for.
Follow up Statoil's follow-up of the fabrications

Result
We carried out an audit of the management of the project through presentations, Q&A sessions and demonstrations of the systems by Statoil and Rosenberg. Spot checks were conducted of the production of procedures and documentation for pipe systems and structures.

We found no non-conformities, but identified one improvement point concerning continuous improvement of execution of the fabrication.

Statoil has been given a deadline of 15 November 2017 to report on how the improvement points will be addressed.
