Audit of Statoil's own follow-up of changes

From 18 April to 7 June 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of Statoil Development and Production Norway (DPN)'s follow-up of changes.


The objective of the audit of DPN Operations North/Åsgard/Åsgard B was to verify that the company's changes have been implemented and followed up in compliance with the authorities' requirements, including the identification and follow-up of HSE risk and the realisation of potential HSE improvements.

Result
One non-conformity was identified in connection with employee participation.

Two improvement points were also identified relating to arrangements for employee participation and risk management.

Statoil has been given a deadline of 1 September 2016 to report on how the non-conformity and improvement points will be dealt with.

Non-conformity:
Entails that a condition is assessed as not complying with a regulatory requirement.

Improvement point:
Entails that we have identified a deficiency or weakness, without there being sufficient grounds for determining a breach of regulatory requirements.
