The objective of the audit was to assess how CoPNo, through its formulation of the framework conditions and follow up of contractors, is ensuring prudent drilling and well operations and helping reduce safety risk and working environment risk. A further aim was to assess how the contractors are exercising their responsibility for managing safety and the working environment within the framework established between the operator and contractor. Contracts and contract follow-up are an important aspect of framework conditions and were therefore given particular attention.
One non-conformity was identified in connection with pressure control equipment.
