Audit of the management of the chemical working environment at Ekofisk J

From 19 to 28 April 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of ConocoPhillips (CoPSAS)'s management of the chemical working environment of the Ekofisk J process facility.

The objective of the audit was to assess CoPSAS's competence and resources for safeguarding the company's management of the chemical working environment at Ekofisk J. We also wanted to examine whether the management met the regulations in respect of governing documents and compliance within this technical discipline.

No non-conformities were detected during this audit.

Improvement points were identified in connection with:

Register of exposed employees
Mapping of benzene from ventilation valves

ConocoPhillips has been given a deadline of 16 June 2016 to report on how the improvement points will be dealt with.

Entails that a condition is assessed as not complying with a regulatory requirement.

Improvement point:
Entails that we have identified a deficiency or weakness, without there being sufficient grounds for determining a breach of regulatory requirements.
