Audit of Wintershall's efficiency improvement processes and HSE risk

In week 36, the PSA carried out an audit of Wintershall's efficiency improvement processes from an HSE perspective.

The object of the audit was to verify that Wintershall's management of efficiency improvement and cost reduction processes is being conducted in compliance with the authorities' requirements, and that Wintershall is carrying out these activities in such a manner that HSE risk is identified and followed up and that potential HSE gains are identified and realised.

Wintershall made a presentation showing that many resources have been invested in securing good decision support for the ongoing efficiency improvement processes. Relevant parts of the organisation state that they have been involved in this work. The company also points to concrete processes and plans for follow-up of the improvement projects.

Observations from this audit will be followed up through our other activities aimed at Wintershall going forward.
