KCA Deutag – own follow-up of arrangements for genuine employee participation

On 21 November 2018, we carried out an audit of the company’s own follow-up of its arrangements for employee participation.


Background
The audit was a follow-up to an audit in 2017 of a number a companies on the topic of arrangements for employee participation. KCAD was one of these companies. As was also apparent in 2017, there was large variation in how the companies facilitate employee participation.

Objective
The objective of the activity was to monitor how the company organises and follows up arrangements for employee participation.

Result
Three non-conformities were identified, in connection with:

  • Organisation of the company’s working environment committee (AMU)
  • Follow-up of the organisation and management of arrangements for employee participation
  • HSE training for AMU members and managers

No improvement points were identified.

KCA Deutag has been given a deadline of 10 January 2019 to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
