Operational audit of electrical installations at Tjeldbergodden

From 20 to 23 August 2018, we carried out an operational audit of Equinor and the electrical installations at Tjeldbergodden.

The objective of the audit was to monitor how Equinor complies with the technical, operational and organisational regulations relating to electrical installations, including the maintenance management of electrical installations.

Non-conformities were identified in connection with:

  • Explosion protection
  • Installation for uninterruptible power supply
  • Emergency lighting
  • Work in and operation of electrical installations
  • Temporary installations, systems and equipment
  • Classification and maintenance

In addition, improvement points were identified in connection with:

  • Objectives and strategies within maintenance management
  • System for technical condition monitoring

Equinor has been given a deadline of 8 November 2018 to report on how the non-conformities and improvement points will be addressed.
