Employee participation is an important precondition for the continuous improvement of OHS work. Through their participation, employees must be included in decision-making processes that affect occupational health and safety, and their ability to influence their own work situation must be provided for.
The purpose of the audit was to assess how employee participation, through the working environment committee and safety representative service, has been arranged so that Talisman's offshore organisation, including contractors, meets the requirements of OHS legislation.
One non-conformity was detected, relating to deficient OHS training for managers.
