Lasting change – choices at a crossroads is the theme for this year’s session, which aims to bring together the most important leaders and agenda-setters in the industry to discuss safety, major accident risk and the working environment.

More than 20 senior personnel from various parts of the sector are on the list of speakers who will be sharing their views during the one-day event at the Clarion Hotel Energy in Stavanger.

The main question on the agenda is what action the industry must take, and keep taking, in order to maintain the level of safety in this demanding phase for the Norwegian petroleum sector.

Main issue for 2017
The PSA will present its interpretation of the safety position to some 120 participants in the conference, along with the main issue it has identified for 2017. The latter will guide the authority’s work over the year and support the government’s expectations for the industry.

While attendance at the conference is by invitation only, the debate, the signals it produces and the conclusions to be drawn from the event will be shared with the whole industry over coming months.
