Consent for use of living quarters module on Sleipner B

Consent: Statoil has received consent to use the living quarters module on Sleipner B during temporarily changed conditions.

The changes regard the fact that the living quarters module on Sleipner B can be used during the planned shutdown in August/September, even though the lifeboat on Sleipner B has been taken out of service. Any evacuation to sea may be carried out through use of means of evacuation on the mobile facility West Epsilon, which is connected to Sleipner B by bridge.

The consent is in effect until the end of the planned shutdown on 20 September 2010, and assumes for example, that drilling operations are halted and the wells secured, and that the process facility is shut down, depressurized and free of gas.
