Borgland Dolphin (pictured) is a type Aker H-3 semi-submersible mobile facility that was built as a flotel at Bergen Mekaniske Verksted in 1976.

In 1999, it was modified to a mobile drilling facility at Harland and Wolff Shipbuilding and Heavy Industries Ltd. in Belfast.

The facility is owned by Dolphin AS and received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in September 2004.
