Statoil has received consent to dispose of Mærsk Inspirer, Navion Saga and subsea installations on the Volve field.

Volve is an oil field in the central North Sea around eight kilometres north of Sleipner East. Water depth in the area is 80 metres. The Volve field was discovered in 1993 and the PDO (plan for development and operation) was approved on 22 April 2005. The field began production on 12 February 2008.

The PSA has granted consent for disposal of the facilities in accordance with Statoil's application.
