The Trym gas and condensate field is located in the far southern part of the Norwegian shelf, about 50 kilometres east of the Valhall facility and three kilometres from the shelf border between Norway and Denmark. The water depth in the area is approx. 65 metres.
The Plan for Development and Operation (PDO) was approved on 26 March 2010.
The development solution is an underwater development, and the production from two production wells will be transported 5.5 kilometres by pipeline to the Harald facility on the Danish shelf for processing and further export.
Trym is the first field to be connected to Danish infrastructure.
The consent comprises use of all facilities (wells, pipelines, etc.) that are necessary for production and transport.
