In June 2018, Okea applied for consent to acquire Norske Shell’s interests in Draugen and became operator.
Okea has now applied to us for consent to use the facilities at Draugen. We have granted this consent.
The consent for use covers the production facilities with associated wells, subsea installations with associated wells, infield pipelines, the oil loading system and gas export pipeline.
Draugen is an oil field in the Norwegian Sea, around 150 kilometres north of Kristiansund. Okea is the field’s operator. Production on the field began in October 1993. The field has been developed using a fixed concrete facility with an integrated deck. Deposits in the vicinity are produced by subsea wells tied back to the Draugen facility.
