The objective of the investigation is e.g. to assess operational, technical and management factors in relation to the incident, assess triggering and underlying causes and evaluate any similarities with previous incidents.

On Monday, 20 December, representatives from the PSA's investigation group travelled to the Njord A facility for an inspection.
