IRF - International Regulators' Forum

The International Regulators' Forum (IRF) was established in 1994 by a group of government agencies which wanted to promote a common understanding of issues related to health, safety and the environment.

It provides an arena for exchanging ideas and opinions about methods and principles concerning efficient supervision of safety and the working environment. Members swop facts on their supervision activities and inform each another about relevant technical issues, regulatory developments, and so forth.

Within the scope and limitations created by the national frameworks for member activities, this collaboration will help to promote a common understanding of such issues as:
