Acknowledgement of Compliance for the Deepsea Trym drilling rig

On 27 June 2003, the NPD issued an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AOC) for the Deepsea Trym drilling rig, which is owned by Odfjell Drilling.

Deepsea Trym is a mobile installation built in Norway by Aker Værdal and commissioned in 1976. The rig was employed in the Norwegian sector until it was sold to foreign interests in 1986. The rig was bought back in 1996 and has since undergone major upgrades in order to comply with the regulations and requirements that apply to the North Sea. The Deepsea Trym also holds a "Safety Case" for the U.K. sector.
