Purpose of the audit
The purpose of the audit was
to verify that Talisman has management systems which reduce the risk of structural failure in aging facilities, and that Talisman has qualified solutions for handling technical integrity of load-bearing structures so that the intent of current regulations is satisfied;
to verify that these management systems for ensuring the technical integrity of load-bearing structures meet Talisman's requirements for quality assurance, as well as requirements stipulated in the Management Regulations, including process descriptions, quality assurance measures and expertise.
The task included Talisman's follow-up of supervisory duties vis-à-vis its suppliers.
Result of the audit
Talisman has established a process to ensure the technical integrity of load-bearing structures and procedures for managing this process have been established. No nonconformities in relation to our regulations were identified during this audit activity, but some areas with potential for improvement were revealed.
