Audit of Oseberg C

From 13 to 16 May 2013, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) carried out an audit of Statoil’s emergency preparedness management on Oseberg C.


Objective
The objective of the activity was to gain an overview of processes and systems that contribute to ensuring comprehensive emergency preparedness management on Oseberg C.


Result
Non-conformities were identified in connection with:

  • lifeboat
  • MOB boat
  • training
  • telemedicine equipment

In addition, improvement points were identified in connection with:

  • co-training of personnel in the emergency preparedness organisation
  • coxswains
  • the emergency response centre
