Consent related to disposal of the Ekofisk Tank

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has given ConocoPhillips consent in connection with disposal of the Ekofisk Tank. The consent applies to removal of the superstructure.

The superstructure will be cut, sorted and transported to shore by supply vessels. Reuse, recycling or final disposal is the next stage.

The plan calls for work to start in April 2005, and be finished by 2008.
