Consent to conduct MUO on Oseberg Sør

Norsk Hydro Produksjon AS (Hydro) has received consent to conduct manned underwater operations (MUO) on Oseberg Sør.

During an inspection in 2006, Hydro discovered fissures in some of the conductor casing on Oseberg Sør. The company has applied for consent to carry out repairs/securing of the casing using surface-based diving from the light diving vessel "Risøy Jr." with "Far Saga" as the mother ship.

We have granted consent for MUO on 13 July 2007. The plan is to commence the operation in Week 31, with a duration of about 10 days.

The diving activity will take place in water depths up to 10.5 meters.
