Consent to use Tampen Link

Gassco AS (Gassco) has received consent to use the Tampen Link pipeline system.

Gassco is responsible for operation of the Tampen Link gas pipeline. The pipeline was built in connection with the Statfjord late phase project. According to the plan, the system will be ready for gas export from 1 October 2007. The 23.1 km pipeline links Statfjord B to the existing British Flags pipeline (see illustration).

Tampen Link

Modifications on Statfjord tie Tampen Link to the existing pipelines on the Statfjord field and to the Gassled gas transport system, thus increasing the export capacity for gas from the Norwegian shelf.
