Consent to use Transocean Searcher on Heidrun

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has granted Statoil ASA (Statoil) its consent to use the mobile rig Transocean Searcher on the Heidrun field. The consent was granted on 1 July 2004, and entails production drilling, completion and intervention.


The Transocean Searcher is operated by Transocean Offshore North Sea Ltd NUF. Transocean Offshore International Ventures Ltd. is the owner of the rig.

The activity will start in August/September 2004 and last for 14 weeks.
