The IRF is an inter-agency forum for facilitating the exchange of ideas and opinions about methods and principles for the effective supervision of safety and the working environment in offshore petroleum activities.
The members of IRF are the offshore petroleum safety authorities of Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the UK and the USA. WorkSafe, the New Zealand safety regulator, hosted the annual meeting in 2016.
