Trinity has presented a plan to comply with the items in the notified order, and submitted a copy of an agreement with Lund Bedriftshelsetjeneste. Therefore, we consider the item relating to obtaining access to the necessary working environment competence to have been met. Furthermore, in accordance with the notification, we have issued the following order:
Pursuant to Section 3 of the Management Regulations relating to the management of health, safety and the environment, and Section 58 of the Framework Regulations relating to administrative decisions, Trinity Nordic AS is ordered to ensure that its working environment management takes into account requirements related to systematic follow-up of the working environment for their employees in the petroleum activities on the Norwegian shelf in accordance with Norwegian health, safety and environmental legislation.

This means that Trinity must:

  • update and implement its management system for the Norwegian shelf to comply with Norwegian requirements for systematic follow-up of the working environment - cf. Chapter 5.1.1 of the report and

  • establish a working environment committee -  cf. Chapter 5.1.2 of the report.

The deadline for complying with the order is set at 15 July 2008. We must be notified when the order has been complied with.
