Port Rigmar receives Acknowledgement of Compliance

The mobile drilling facility Port Rigmar received the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway's (PSA's) Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) on 30 May 2008. The facility is operated by Polycrest AS.

The Port Rigmar (see photo) and relevant parts of Polycrest AS' organization and management system have been found to be in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements for the petroleum activities.

The decision is based on the information provided in the AoC application regarding the technical condition of the facility and the applicant's organization and management system, as well as the authorities' verifications and other case processing. The assessment has been made in line with the PSA's "Guidelines for Applications for Acknowledgement of Compliance", issued on 1 July 2006.

The validity of this Acknowledgement of Compliance presumes that Polycrest AS will ensure that the facility and relevant parts of the company's organization and management system are maintained, so that the conditions and assumptions in the PSA's decision are observed.
