Renewed consent to use facilities after establishing area emergency preparedness

Statoil ASA (Statoil) has received renewed consent to use several facilities after establishing area emergency preparedness on Tampen.


The consent relates to the following facilities:

  • Gullfaks A, B, C

  • Statfjord A, B, C

  • Visund

  • Snorre A, B.

  •  

The consent is granted in part on the basis of documentation submitted in connection with the application and documentation related to the processing of the application.

The consent is granted conditional upon the following:

  • New standby vessel to be put into service on Statfjord/Gullfaks.

  • LIMSAR rescue helicopter stationed on Statfjord B to be replaced with AWSAR in 2009.

  •  

Emergency preparedness for acute pollution is not affected by this consent.
