The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway and ONS invite you to an HSE lunch

Under the heading "Building the bridge safely", the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway and Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) invite you to an HSE lunch in Stavanger on Thursday, 24 August. Speakers: Minister of labour and social inclusion, Bjarne Håkon Hanssen and Rt Hon Paul Boateng, British high commissioner to South Africa. The winner of the HSE-related "PSA Award" will be announced during the event.


Health, environment and safety are important elements in the petroleum activities, and are naturally also central issues in the program of the the oil exhibition in Stavanger 22-25 August. The title of this year's HSE lunch, "Building the bridge safely", also corresponds with the main theme for this year's conference program during ONS; "Bridging the energy gap".

The HSE lunch was first held by ONS and the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway two years ago, and its target groups are industry executives, HSE delegates, union representatives and representatives from the governing authorities.

During the HSE lunch, The PSA award* winner will be announced by the Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion, Bjarne Håkon Hanssen.

The HSE lunch is held in Atlantic Hall in downtown Stavanger. The number of seats is limited to 200, and we urge interested parties to make their reservations early (see link for registration). The price is NOK 700 per person.

* The purpose of the PSA Award is to acknowledge HSE excellence. The HSE prize is established by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) and the Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) foundation.
