The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) relaunches website

New design, new structure and plenty of new information: www.ptil.no has had a complete facelift.

An objective has been to develop a website that clearly highlights our priorities. This is why our relaunched home page is dominated by a rotating image showing our main priorities for 2008, with links to additional information.

The HSE regulations that the PSA manages are now an integrated part of our website.

The vast majority of the information on www.psa.no is available in both Norwegian and English. Easy-to-access information about who we are and what we do is also available in Sami, Russian and Polish.

To enhance user-friendliness, visible links are provided to areas for free text searches, a website map, as well as shortcuts to key areas/topics.

Five main topics
The PSA's new website is built around five main topics:

We want to continue to offer our users a relevant and dynamic website. To facilitate this, most of the topical and technical pages will contain a news icon in the right-hand column, thus allowing visitors easy access to relevant news in the respective topical areas.

You can still subscribe to Norwegian and/or English news in the categories News/Supervision and Regulations, see www.psa.no/subscribe. Subscriptions to the old website have been transferred to the new, so that the subscribers will receive news messages from the PSA as previously.

We welcome your questions, input and comments regarding our new website. Please submit any comments to nettredaksjon@ptil.no.

Our new website was developed in cooperation with the consulting firm Bouvet, and is based on the publishing tool CorePublish.
