The PSA issues an order to ConocoPhillips

The notification of an order to ConocoPhillips Norway (CopNO) following the diving audit of the vessels DSND Pelican and Seaway Osprey, has now been followed by an order.

The letter giving the notification of order was sent to CopNO on 29 June. The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) received a reply from the operating company on 1 July. However, the information in that letter does not make the audit team change its opinion of the matter. An order is therefore issued, identical to the items listed in the notification (see links).

The orders must be complied with before the diving activity starts up, and at the latest by 10 July. The PSA must be notified when the orders have been complied with and must be given a description of the measures that have been implemented.

On Friday, July 9, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) received satisfactory documentation from CopNO to the effect that the various items in the order have been addressed. The diving operation could thus commence as planned from 10 July.
