BP Norge AS (BP) is the operator on the Ula field, an oil field in block 7/12 in the southern part of the North Sea. The field has been developed using three fixed facilities with a gangway connection. Oil from Ula is transported by pipeline to Ekofisk and from there on to Teeside. Production began in 1986.
The PSA has carried out an audit of BP's compliance with regulatory requirements in the areas of maintenance, process safety and occupational health and safety. The audit was conducted in the form of a meeting with the organisation onshore on 31 October 2014 and on board the facility from 4 to 7 November 2014.
