This conference is a collaboration between the PSA and the University of Tromsø (UiT)–Arctic University of Norway.
Its object is to view the safety issues in the Barents Sea in relation to the many opportunities in the region. An overall view, status, requirements, experience and challenges in the Arctic are key concerns.
An exciting programme has been put together to illustrate a number of aspects of and challenges for the petroleum industry in the far north of the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). Status reports will also be provided on the most important safety-related projects currently under way.
Speakers are drawn from oil companies, government, unions, employer organisations, universities and research institutions in Norway and abroad.
The delegate fee for the conference is NOK 3 500. This includes a simple welcome reception at the Scandic Ishavshotell the evening before the programme (28 October), as well as lunch on 29 and 30 October.
We have prebooked a number of rooms at the Scandic Ishavshotell and one of its neighbouring hotels for the conference. Please make a booking by contacting +47 77 66 64 00, or firstname.lastname@example.org
