The main purpose of the drilling is to explore the hydrocarbon potential in the prospect, which is located between the fields Ula and Tambar in the North Sea and approx. 240 km south-west of Egersund. The geographical coordinates are
• 57° 01' 20.462" N
• 02° 51' 24.401" E
The water depth at the site is 70 metres.
The plan is to start drilling in January 2012 with an estimated duration of 90 days. If discoveries are made, it may become relevant to drill a sidetrack, which will take another 34 days.
