The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has conducted an audit of Equinor Mongstad directed at the company’s management of the working environment for the insulation, scaffolding and surface treatment (ISS) trades. Several breaches of the regulations were identified, and the PSA has therefore given the company notice of an order.
In May 2018, we held a meeting with the Well Management company Well Expertise about the follow-up of planning and execution of exploration drilling projects on behalf of operators.
In April 2018, we held a series of meetings with selected participants to follow up framework conditions, especially within maintenance, modification and SIP (scaffolding, insulation and painting) work. The companies we followed up on were Point Resources and their suppliers Aker Solutions and Norisol.
In April/May 2018, we held a series of meetings with the contractors Weatherford, Schlumberger, Enhanced Drilling and Halliburton, which supply managed pressure drilling services on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
We have carried out an audit of Eni Norge AS (Eni) and the operator’s management of emergency preparedness on Goliat FPSO.
On 25 July 2018, we carried out an audit of the follow-up of materials handling, cranes and lifting on Martin Linge B.
We have carried out an audit of Point Resources focused on the company’s management of health risk, capacity and competence within the working environment and arrangements for employee participation at Ringhorne.
We have carried out an audit of Seadrill Europe Management (Seadrill) and its management of emergency preparedness and the working environment on the West Elara mobile drilling facility.
In the period 15 May to 1 June 2018, we carried out an audit of Equinor Development and Production Norway (UPN)'s own follow-up of changes.
From 14 to 16 May 2018, we carried out an audit of the follow-up of alarm load and human factors in the control room at Hammerfest LNG.
